What do you charge?
• Free 15-minute phone consultation
• $175 per 60-minute session
Insurance
Do you take insurance? Yes, though I have a limited number of insurance spots available. I am in-network with several major plans including Aetna, Anthem, BlueCross BlueShield, Cigna/Evernorth, Premera, Regence, and others. Headway makes it easy to check whether I’m in your network.
I can also provide a Superbill for out-of-network reimbursement. As every policy is different, I’d encourage you to contact your insurance company directly to understand your financial responsibility.
What’s the difference between using insurance and paying out of pocket? Using insurance can make sessions more affordable through copays. That said, insurance requires a diagnosis that becomes part of your medical record and may limit the number of sessions covered. Some people prefer the privacy and flexibility of paying out of pocket at the full fee. I’m happy to talk through what makes most sense for your situation during our consultation call.
What about the Good Faith Estimate? In compliance with the No Surprises Act, if you are not using insurance, you have the right to receive a Good Faith Estimate explaining how much your care will cost. I will provide an estimate based on the rates above. For more information, visit www.cms.gov/nosurprises.
Payment
Payment is due at the beginning of each session. I accept credit cards through the Simple Practice Client Portal, or checks.
Cancellation Policy
Please cancel or reschedule as soon as you’re able — at least 24 hours notice is appreciated. Same-day cancellations are not charged if you reschedule within the same week. No-shows are charged in full. You receive one missed or cancelled session per year at no charge — and if I’m not there, you don’t pay either.
I hold this boundary not to be rigid, but because your time in session matters — and showing up, even on the hard days, is part of the work.
